Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Bob Crowder and I have served as the pastor to several Southern Baptist Churches in Texas. My wife and I live in Morgan’s Point Resort, Texas. I am the current pastor of Lakeview Baptist Church in Belton, Texas. http://www.lbcbelton.org.
This blog contains what I call “Journey Notes” that concern the Christian Life. I have been a serious Bible student and teacher for over 35 years. I have sat at the feet of some of the best Bible teachers of today, but mostly this blog will be insights that I have gained during these years of ministry.
- Education: Master of Ministry, working on a Doctor of Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary, Camilla, Georgia
- If I could Preach one more time, I would say…: “Sirs, we would see Jesus.”
- What I want on my tombstone: Well done, thou good and faithful servant.
Please, can you PM me and tell me few more thinks about this, I am really fan of your blog…gets solved properly asap.

Every time I come to pastorbobcrowder.wordpress.com you have another interesting article up to read. A friend of mine was telling me about this topic several weeks ago. I think I’ll e-mail them the link here and see what they say.

Thank you Bob! I agree with you! Praise the Lord for His precious word! When we think of the age of the earth there are several questions that come to mind. How old was Adam when God created him? How old was the earth when it was created by God? Adam wasn’t created as as infant, but an adult. Was he 21 or 30 or some other age? I have no proof but if I had to give an age I would say 30. I couldn’t argue for any age, but Jesus began his earthly ministry at about 30. God could create the earth to be any age because He is God and in His sovereignty can do what He pleases.
I am looking forward to see you at the OMC in Enon Association in October.
